The article "An Illusion of Secrecy" by Larry Randall was serialized in "Public Safety Communications Magazine". It serves as a good primer for those interested in encryption, and for those interested in data transmission over radio channels.
The article is written to a non-technical audience that has a requirement to grasp the issues and constraints encountered when applying encryption to various communications media, Please read the "Note to Reader".

This link should work on all devices, and should size properly to the mobile screen. (You may need to view in PORTRAIT mode on some phones using FireFox.)
Tested on Samsung Galaxy 5 Android phone running Firefox and Chrome, and on LG Android tablet running Firefox and Chrome. Also tested on HP laptop and desktop with both FireFox and IE. (Please Right Click and download to view.)
CAMTASIA 8 / LECTORA DEMO:
NOTE: This is a short (3m 52s) "capabilities demo" -- absolutely not a training. A user training would have knowledge checks, and would focus upon when and where to use "style X". An interactive video "show me" job aid for Global Template Installation and/or enable Add-In would be a bit longer, with automatic pauses and "do this, then click here to continue" at each spot where an action is required by the user.
This demo also applies to Lectora Camtasia. Input audio files are multiple segments of MP3 and WAV, while video contains multiple segments from both MP4 and Camtasia captures. The voice-over was recorded with a studio microphone, through a professional mixer into a desktop computer running XP Professional. (There is a slight "wind hiss" from an uncontrollable air handler.) The editing was done in Camtasia Studio 8 on my laptop, which is running Windows 8.
CAPTIVATE 7 DEMO:
NOTE: This is a "quick and dirty how-to" for a client who wished to use my custom Word styles and custom Word toolbars. It is not intended as a finished product, and will be replaced as soon as I have time to do a fully produced version. (All of my existing Captivate finished products are covered under strict NDA.)
